About the club
More than a range.
A community.
Southern Archers PH has been sharing its passion for archery since 2019. We're a community of like-minded archers — beginners finding their anchor point, traditional shooters keeping the old ways alive, and competitors chasing tens. Whatever brings you to the line, you'll find coaching, equipment, and people who want you to hit your mark.

Questions
Before you nock.
I've never held a bow. Where do I start?
Book the ₱500 trial lesson. In one hour a coach walks you through safety, equipment, and your first arrows — everything is provided. If you're hooked, the 4-session beginner course (₱4,500) builds your full technique.
Do I need my own equipment?
No. Bows, arrows, and protective gear are available to rent at the range for every discipline. Once you're shooting regularly, our coaches can advise you on buying your first setup.
When can I shoot?
The range is open on weekends from 1:00 PM onwards. For weekday group bookings, contact us by email.
What styles of archery do you teach?
Recurve, compound, barebow, and traditional archery — with dedicated coaches for traditional and barebow. We don't have a para-archery program yet, but it's on our roadmap.
How far can I shoot?
Our outdoor range supports distances up to 70 meters — the full Olympic recurve distance. Beginners start much closer and move back as their groups tighten.
How do I book?
Email us at southernarchersph@gmail.com or message us on Facebook, and we'll confirm your slot for the next weekend session.
How does membership work?
After your beginner course you can join as a club member and shoot every weekend. The full details are in our Terms of Membership.
Range safety
Safety is rule zero.
- Obey the whistle. Shoot only on the shooting signal, retrieve only on the retrieve signal, and stop instantly on the emergency signal.
- Nock on the line only. Arrows stay in the quiver until you are standing on the shooting line and the range is live.
- Never dry-fire. Never draw or release a bow without an arrow — it can destroy the bow and injure you.
- Point downrange, always. A nocked arrow points at the target and nowhere else — never at people, even in jest.
- Walk, don't run. Walk to and from the targets, and watch for arrows in the ground near the target line.
- Follow the coaches. Range officers and coaches have final say on the line. New archers shoot under supervision until cleared.
